Clipsal 500 is a disgrace: it promotes gendered stereotypes within society, contributes to pollution, causes traffic jams and chaos for people getting to work, destroys peace and quiet, results in "revved up rev heads" speeding, crashing cars, drink driving, objectifying women and acting like total bogans, detracts from the actual cultural events happening at this time ie. Fringe, Womad and Film Festival, and all round, pisses us off.
We, the undersigned, call on Mike Rann and the South Australian Government to give back the V8s from whence they came.
