El estadio Ildefonso Sola Morales (ISM) es desde el 1947 la casa del equipo de béisbol de Caguas, los Criollos, que han dado 18 títulos a su fanaticada. Tras el paso del Huracan Maria y con la justificación de que no hay dinero para el arreglo del parque, el alcalde de Caguas anuncio formalmente en un periódico local que el estadio se cerrara y se demolerá (https://bit.ly/2BoU1AD).
El estadio es un lugar de orgullo, tradición, folclore e historia deportiva para la ciudad de Caguas. El municipio, operadores, y dueños deben buscar alternativas sin tener que demoler una estructura, que es en toda su esencia, histórica. El parque también de los fanáticos, de la comunidad, del pueblo. No será el mejor parque del mundo, pero para los fanáticos del béisbol cagueño, ese parque ES el mundo. ¡No la demolición de ISM!

The Ildefonso Sola Morales (ISM) Stadium is since 1947 the home of the Caguas’ Criollos baseball team, which have given 18 pennants to their fans. After Hurricane Maria and with the justification that there is no money to fix up the park, the Caguas mayor made a formal announcement in a local newspaper that the stadium will be closed and demolished (https://bit.ly/2BoU1AD).
The stadium is a place of pride, tradition, folklore and sports history for the municipality of Caguas. The municipality, operators and owners must find alternatives for the facility without having to demolish the structure, which is in all its sense, a historic one. The stadium also belongs to the fans, the community, the township. It may not be the best park in the world, but for real Caguas baseball fans, it IS the world. No to the demolition of the ISM!
