In 2004 the HMI inspection report declared Mearns Academy unsatisfactory due to overall quality of accommodation. Four years down the line NOTHING has changed.
Staff, pupils and the wider community deserve a purpose built school and sporting facilities. Let's make this a reality and not just a pipedream.
We, the undersigned request that Aberdeenshire Council finally commit to making Mearns the NEXT new school they build in Aberdeenshire.
