New life orientation cirriculum for grades 4-7 in South Africa from 2020

The department of education is planning on bringing in sex orientation in the cirriculum of grades 4-7 from 2020. This will include masturbation, consenting to sex, genital changes and differences. This was done in consultation with a sex therapist according to the department of education. How can they teach children at the age of 9 these things. Sex education should be left to the parents. As it is, children that don't even know about sex get raped by children as young as 10 or 11.
We, the undersigned call on the South African minister of Education to withdraw this proposed plan and leave sex education to the parents and to concentrate on subjects that will give children a better education.
