Everyday we are told our shorts are not long enough, our straps are too thin, or our shirts are too revealing. Men are never told that their clothing is inappropriate, meanwhile a large majority of the female population are simply seen as something to look at or just there for your sexual exploits. Young females are forced to go to school wearing heavy clothing that they not only dislike for looks, but for comfort as well. If we can walk around in a bathing suit, that shows a majority of your body, we should be able to wear shorts and a tank top to keep us from getting hot. We shouldn't be sent home for wearing clothes that we are comfortable in. Education comes first, and my clothes is my choice. I'm Alexia deschamps and I believe in female equality, and wearing the clothes you are comfortable in.
78% of schools do not allow: thin straps, shorts above your finger tips, see-through shirts, and clothing that reveals your stomach. With this policy, If you do not follow the dress code there will be serious consequences. 83% of girls feel more confident when not following the schools dress code. 56% of girls feel less hot when wearing clothing of their choice
