The Global Citizen Festival will be hosted on the 2nd of December to commemorate Tata Mandela. As we all know Tata is from the Eastern Cape, and to honour his memory, the festival should be hosted in his home province.
This will benefit the tourism and small business sector of the Eastern Cape. The province is amongst the poorly governed provinces and such an event will generate money for the locals and their businesses, benefit orphanages and shelters in the form of donations.
Eastern Cape may not be as "big" as Gauteng but such an event will benefit its people greatly and carry the spirit of uTata Mandela
We, undersigned, call on the South African Government, to host the Global Citizen Festival in the Eastern Cape.
