Moroccans living abroad are taking a stand against the airline Royal Air Maroc (RAM). RAM connects North America and Morocco directly. Because of this, Moroccan immigrants living in the US and Canada prove to have no choice but to fly with them because they are the only airline who provides a direct flight to Morocco.
Most people prefer direct flights for its convenience. The elderly and young children may find that it is easier if it is only one flight. Outraged from the sky high prices, atrocious customer service, innumerable delays, and lost luggage, a petition has been made to have other North American airlines have a direct flight to Morocco.
The petitioners argue that there are many problems within the airline, and they want other airlines to have a direct flight to Morocco. To them, flying with RAM to get to Morocco is completely out of the question.
The cause is growing more and more every day for reform and other alternatives.
This petition has been launched to start a grass-roots movement to rally our Moroccan community to push for radical changes in how Royal Air Maroc (RAM) serves its passengers in North America. The airline services have been poor. They messed up travel and vacation plans of so many families over and over again. With constant cancellation of trips, delays are the norm, with disrespectful attitudes of RAM airport staff. This has to stop.
This page is the first step in trying to change that. It is time we should rally against RAM with one voice. Moroccans resident abroad wish to protest these irresponsible practices.
