Formaldehyde is a toxic carcinogenic poison, and it is found in many textile products in the Australian market place. Even in "all natural" cotton products.
There needs to be some sort of regulations on this toxic poison, manufacturers of products should be required to at least label their products as containing formaldehyde, particularly due to the fact that there are many people who are allergic to this chemical, as well as many cancer sufferers who unknowingly expose themselves to this carcinogen on a daily basis.
We call on the Australian government to regulate the use, or even better, ban the use of this highly dangerous and poisonous chemical in textile products.
