The Meercroft Park Development Committee is currently seeking funds to replace the synthetc playing surface in Devonport currently used by hockey clubs, schools and community members. The surface must be replaced by March 2014 ready for next season.
The Committee has saved 50% of the funds needed for the project and is now seeking to illustrate community support through this petition. Given the tight timeframes we are seeking immediate funding support.

We, the undersigned, support the Meercroft Park Development Committee in its request to the Honorable Sid Sidebottom to investigate and secure funding to replace the synthetic playing surface in Devonport currently used by hockey clubs, schools and community members. The surface must be replaced by March 2014 ready for next season.
We support the request for up to $200,000 to be allocated to this project and understand that the Committee has the same amount raised.
