Since 2012 there have been multiple bills introduced in the West Virginia House and Senate seeking to allow safe access to medical marijuana for approved patients.
No bill has yet to pass the Senate or House Health and Human Resources Committee.
Any collected signatures will be submitted to these committees before legislative sessions in 2017.
