2.7 trillion dollars of our money! There should in no way ever be a reason for the people to not receive their benefits. Why did congress decide to borrow instead of investing "our money".?They’ve been using it to help pay for things that have nothing to do with Social Security, things the political establishment and tax-averse Americans wanted but didn’t want to pay for: invasions, education, highway repairs and so on. And, without giving any thought to paying the surplus money back, the federal government has been trading it for special Treasury bonds that politicians used to assure us were safe in a lockbox.OASI - $2,596,371,000,000

So, that's almost $2.6 trillion for the Old-Age and Survivors Insurance trust fund, plus an additional $140 billion or so for the Disability Insurance trust fund.
Where is the money and what right does the government have to "borrow" our money and never pay back>?
We the people want the U.S. government and all involved to repay the trillions of dollars they "borrowed" from Social security. This money belongs to the people of the United States, we worked for this it is not a privilege, it is our right! The government had the right to "borrow" our money without allowing us( the people) to vote or approve. This money has been owed back to Social Security for many,many years, and it is now time to repay! We the people also believe that is should be paid back with interest,just as any other "loan". The time is now! We the people also believe that none other or our money should be "borrowed without request and approval from us(the people). 2.7 Trillion dollars is a lot of money and we demand it be paid back! We also should not have to go through years and lawyers to get what is ours.2.7 trillion owed old age benefits and 140. billion for disability. Give our money back! We demand receipts and what all our money has been "used" for.
