Starz, one of many premier cable networks, currently offers viewers with a cable subscription the option of watching TV shows online.
However, people who live in many countries outside the US are unable to subscribe to Starz. Starz also does not stream many shows on Hulu or netflix.
But by doing this they are missing out on major profits. There are certain populations of people who do not subscribe to cable and who are increasingly turning to the internet to watch tv, while dumping traditional cable subscriptions.
With Starz playing a vital role in producing TV adaptations of popular books this leaves many of those fans unable to watch the book-to-tv adaptations.
We, the undersigned, call on Starz to create an online subscription system where users can pay to view Starz tv shows, independent of having a cable subscription.
We believe that this would be a good business decision and allow international audiences unprecedented access to Starz TV shows and Movies.
Starz, please allow your viewers to have access to their favorite shows without a cable subscription.
