It is a known fact that this two roads are often closed in bad weather due to Rockfalls, these rockfalls are a rather common occurrence during our winter periods and just after heavy rains or winds.
This last rockfall couple of days ago will have Sir Herberts Miles Road and Devils tower Roads closed at their junction with Eastern Beach Road from some time. This will be Disrupting traffic and normal flow of it in the area, as every time we have bad weather.
We believe its high time that this area be made safe by either moving the road away from the Cliffs, or creating a system of false tunnels just as the ones being built for the Runway..
