Pleasant Grove Road has become a commuter highway. The amount of traffic has doubled if not tripled in the past few years.
The average speed limit is well above the posted speed limit of 55 mph. The CHP agree that we have a huge problem on Pleasant Grove Road. We have requested for stop signs and been denied, we have asked for the speed limit to be lowered it was denied.
The number of speeding tickets, accidents and the numberous close calls of being pushed off the road, need to stop. With the Sutter County improving our road recently, the speed issue and passing will become more dangerous.
Please help before someone loses a loved one.
We are concerned citizens of Pleasant Grove, CA. This petition is a request to have double yellow lines added to Pleasant Grove Rd, between the Auburn Ravine and the 3700 block of Pleasant Grove Rd.
This change will help create safer community for us and for those who drive this busy road daily.
