On September 11, 2001, the United States of American befell great losses due to the actions of al-Qaeda, a terrorist group funded and led by Osama bin Laden.
Thousands of people lost their lives in these deadly attacks on US soil, with more lives lost as the US embarked on a war against terrorism.
I believe that May 1st should become a national holiday, commemorating the death of Osama bin Laden, the most infamous terrorist that has eluded capture for ten years.
As Americans, we should stand up and show the world that the United States is a force to be reckoned with and we always finish what we start.
Make May 1st a National Holiday so the lives we have lost and military service men and women will be honored for their bravery and sacrifice.
