You see I play on Xbox and alot of my freinds play on PlayStation and we are good teammates like when we're playing local Co-op games we are amazing at working together, now to my surprise a game which has been going on for 6 years still updating and getting big chunks of revenue isn't crossplay?
Like I get it for a huge chunk of that time period Sony was basically saying no to crossplay as they probably didn't like how it would look on there business model being crossplay with other consoles but Xbox and Nintendo did it and look where it's got now. Anyway I'm getting off topic.
Now look GTA has a massive community but the problem is it's broken up because of the different consoles imagine how much more entertaining would it be to have servers filled with different consoles imagine the diversity. And another thing is I watch a YouTuber/Twitch Streamer known as Modest Pelican and he plays on Xbox and when ever he tweets out a open lobbie the people on PlayStation are actually upset that they missed out, so it also makes it easier for content creators meet there fans (Even if on seperate devices)
And now I know what you're thinking Crossplay with PC but that is so unfair for console user's and yes it might be unfair but I kinda found away around that how it would work is Consoles can pick how they play and here I'll show you

Xbox: Crossplay Off - Crossplay Consoles - Crossplay All
PC: Crossplay Off - Crossplay Alll

Crossplay Off: This would mean that Crossplay is off you play it how one would normally play it
Crossplay Consoles: This would mean that you could play with other consoles (Xbox One & PlayStation 4)
Crossplay All: Hence the name all devices play with PC, Xbox & PlayStation

What happens if I just join a freind?
Well you see that diagram is just for open lobbies, if you join a freind on another device you will just be thrown into there server, it also wont change the diagram above
How would I join other devices?
Through Social Club of course, just like how with fortnite you use your Epic Games account GTA you use your Rockstar equivalent.

So please for the love of all that is the community add Crossplay, make it so content creators and freinds can play with each other. Don't be that one game in the corner who doesn't have crossplay do the right thing do the fun thing and make GTA Crossplay.
