There isn't one skatepark in the Evergreen, San Jose area. A lot of times skaters get pulled over, kicked out, and criticized at schools and other properties for enjoying a sport they love.
There's plenty of space near Evergreen Valley College. Instead of skaters loitering and damaging new ledges, it would be highly appreciated to have a skatepark with curfew lights included.
That specific location would be good for stores nearby in the shopping center and would be perfect for nearby residents because of the secluded space.
We, parents and kids, call on the City of San Jose to build a skatepark with curfew lights in the secluded field near Evergreen Valley College.
