I created this petition to lower the grading scale at Spearfish High School.

Currently The grading scale is at a ridiculously high percentage for an A (96%) this petition is to lower a more reasonable percentage of 92%.

The grading scale at the school was raised to make the students work harder, and to make it hard for you to get an A in the first place.

The majority of the students are simply incapable of reaching the overtly high expectations. Only 30 out of about 140 of the students that were on the A honor roll actually got a 4.0 GPA on the transcripts.

If the petition is to go through then the amount of students with 4.0 GPA's would most likely go up 40-50%.
