It has been crucial to look into the appalling tax controls apparent to our government since the cascading news in emptieng state coffers from across state owned enterprises. I can now confirm this has resulted in shooting of tax, for example the value added tax, increasing in petrol prices, Which is now affecting food prices, and shooting prices in the retail value chain, the most affected citizens is the poor of the poorest. I want to believe as citizens in Africa and African diaspora we ought to stand up and make the noise much louder than ever before.
We, the undersign call on the UN to intervene on the increase of value added tax , and other tax issues that is now harming ordinary citizens.
