Lowe Brothers have applied for a change of usage license to LLDC. They wish to run a 24 hour recycling facility from the site directly to the north of Maltings Close adjacent to the railway line. Many residents have complained to Tower Hamlets about the excessive noise coming from the site.
Apparently Lowe Bros having been illegally running the site as a 24 hour recycling facility for some considerable time. The site does not fall under Tower Hamlets Council so all noise complaints have fallen on deaf ears.
LLDC state that they will view the change of usage favourably because they have received only 1 complaint from Maltings Close residents ( not suprising as virtually all complaints have gone into a black hole in Tower Hamlets council) As agroup we need to register our complaints to prevent years of nightly noise pollution.
I, as a resident of Maltings Close, wish to strongly state my objection to the planning application submitted by Lowe Bros due to excessive and distressing noise pollution already eminating from the site as a result of their illegal usage of the site as a 24 hour recycling plant.
