Help Keep Lincoln Elementary School Open
The School Board has targeted our beloved Lincoln Elementary, along with Aldie, Hamilton and Hillsboro, for closure at the end of this school year. Letters (see www.lincolncommunityleague.org) were sent home with students yesterday with new boundary information for the next school year. IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR YOU TO HELP, and we encourage all citizens of Lincoln and the county (current and former) to help save our school! This impact will not just be felt by those that have children attending the school, but will ripple through the county.
You can help by:
Sending a letter to the School Board at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com.
Attend any of the upcoming meetings, especially the April 21 meeting at the school administration building in Ashburn. Sign the online petition found here.
If you have any questions, please contact LCL Board Co-presidents Jilori White (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Harriet Wegmeyer (email@example.com).
As residents of Loudoun County, we are OPPOSED to closing LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL.
