In the community of Lawrenceville, PA. 15201, a growing number of body modification/tattoo/piercing studios have been appearing. As many a three per city block has been opening during the year of 2013. 15 years ago, Lawrenceville contained one studio , within one year 7 have been opened ,and 4 more are applying for occupancy.
Professionally it is a frowned upon in the industry to open within a certain area of a competitor, therefore we feel it is necessary to impose legislation/restrictions on the amount of studios that can be located within any one ward of the city of Pittsburgh, and occupancy should be denied if these boundaries are violated.The Lawrenceville shopping district in our opinion would be better suited filling empty store fronts with more restaurants ,and specialty stores, than droves of tattoo studios.
An over saturation of any business is not beneficial for a community.
We, the undersigned, call to restrict the number of Tattoo,piercing, and body modification studios in the area of Pittsburgh Pa. referred to as Lawrenceville.
An ample distance between said studios should be enforced and upheld respectfully.
