In-N-Out Burger would like to open a restaurant on N Main between Oak Park Blvd and Sun Valley Drive in Pleasant Hill. This site currently contains a funeral home, a small empty lot, and a Black Angus restaurant.

In-N-Out restaurants are known not only for their food, but also for their drive-thrus and the long lines that they create. Some restaurants experience an average of 1200-1500 vehicles per day through their property (to be verified).

Another In-N-Out location is already under construction 3.2 miles down the same road at Contra Costa Blvd & Concord Ave.

Neighbors behind the N Main location, some residents of Pleasant Hill, and others who use this area frequently are in opposition and/or have concerns regarding In-N-Out operating at this site.

This petition is a tool to allow people to express their concerns to the Pleasant Hill Planning Commission in hopes that it will affect the site layout or cause In-N-Out to seek out a better-suited high-traffic location.

We, the undersigned, believe that the location chosen at N Main, between Sun Valley Drive and Oak Park Blvd, is an inappropriate location for In-N-Out Burger based on its negative effects to the neighborhood, its high volume of traffic, or other concerns, as expressed in each person's notes.
