2 weeks ago, the Lewis Estates residents were informed that the City of Edmonton had changed their original plan of a 2 lane expansion to a 4 lane expansion. This would mean that there will be 7 lanes at the Whitemud intersection and 5 lanes at the 4-way stop intersection.
The Lewis Estates Community feels that this is unnecessary and will not be of any benefit, and will only decrease property values.
Our goal is to have the City of Edmonton continue ONLY with their original proposal of a 2 lane addition.
