The Academy Awards, or "Oscars", are one of the most famous and prestigious awards in the world. Unfortunately, viewership of the awards show has declined in recent years--fewer average people seem interested in watching the event. Part of the problem seems to be the Hosts--controversy has surrounded the event's Hosts, both official and proposed. A new, different kind of Host could be just the thing to jump-start viewership of the Oscars. Who could pull off such a comeback? Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, of course!
Triumph the Insult Comic Dog is the perfect choice to host the 2019 Academy Awards. The Oscars have been declining in viewership over the last few years, and a very different kind of Host is just the solution we need. Triumph has a long history as a Comedian, and lots of experience with Red-Carpet interactions with Movie Stars and other Celebrities. Additionally, he is an equal-opportunity Comedian--he does not discriminate unfairly, but treats everyone equally in his jokes and jabs. He is a well-known and popular figure, with an edgy and memorable style. We, the undersigned, implore the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to invite Triumph the Insult Comic Dog to host the 2019 Academy Awards.
