Madison Bumgarner is the most prolific Home Run hitting Pitcher in this millennium. He should not only be allowed to hit away in the 2016 Major League All Star Home Run Derby; he should be the very FIRST choice/invitee.
The recent Home Run Derbies get scant attention from the viewing public. Also, since the game is to be held on July 12, 2016, at San Diego's Petco Park the home run derby might be a little boring. Petco Park has a reputation as being very hard on long ball hitters due to its spacious outfields. If Madison Bumgarner was allowed to compete it would be VIEWED MORE WIDELY than the actual All Star Game itself.
