We are members of the "Purple Army" and we feel like the musicians to pay tribute to our beloved "Prince" should be Lenny Kravitz, Rosie Gaines, Morris Day & Stevie Wonder maybe even Eric Clapton NOT Madonna.
Please reconsider your decision and pay tribute to him the way that he deserves and by people that meant the most to him.
This is a global effort to let you know that his fans do not approve of the individual that was selected to do the performance.
We, the members of the Purple Army call on the Billboard Music Awards to cancel Madonna as the artist to pay tribute to our "Prince".
Instead we would like to see artist such as Lenny Kravitz, Rosie Gaines, Morris Day, Stevie Wonder and or Eric Clapton.
