With a growing body of evidence through scientific, medical, and nutritional research over the past four decades, the health benefits of raw dairy products (particularly fresh cows milk), are indisputable. Milk, in its pure, unprocessed condition, contains many enzymes, 'good' microbes, and nutrients - that are simply unable to survive the heat treatment, we know as pasteurization.

While some health risks remain, they no are longer considered life threatening. Concerned individuals can make a personal decision with the assistance of a medical professional.

We the undersigned, call on FSANZ to make the appropriate amendments to the national Food Standards act relating to Dairy Products, allowing its sale directly from farmer to consumer - legally.

We expect that farmers will be required to meet existing quality standards, through a daily testing schedule, and that appropriate health warnings will be incorporated onto any product labels.
