The state of North Carolina is losing millions in a valuable source of revenue that instead is going to are neighboring state's of South Carolina and Tennessee where just about every type of firework is legal.
We as citizens should have the right to use fireworks to celebrate are nations birthday and for other celebratory events.
Consumer Fireworks are highly regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in which designates what kind of fireworks we can use without having to get a License and or permit.
We, the people of North Carolina, call on the state to change their stance on Consumer Fireworks to instead legalize them and promote their safe use instead of banning them.
