More then half of La Trobe students have only some of their lectures recorded online, with 27% of La Trobe students having none of their lectures online at all!
Online Lecture Material should be a compulsory component of the educational material that lecturers and the University provide to students, as many students often have lecture clashes or work that prevent them from attending some classes. Many students also use Online Lectures as supplementary learning material.
In the 21st century it should be the standard that ALL lectures are provided online (aside from lectures breaking copyright).
Sign the petition to tell the Vice Chancellor and all the academics that we want our Lectures Online!
We, the students of La Trobe University, call on the University to expand its Lectopia facilities to all lecture rooms and make it compulsory for all lectures to be recorded and made available to students online via LMS.
