Chinese Lanterns and Lantern festivals need to be a thing of the past! We need to protect our wildlife, our farms, and our planet. Making it a little safer step by step. Here in Pinal County Lanterns festivals are popping up. Lighting off thousands of lanterns, sending in clean up crews the following day. No warning to property owners they were going to have the event in the first place. Please let's make lanterns and their floating fire hazards a thing of the past. Thank you for your time.
We call on Pinal County and Arizona State officials to ban the usage of all Chinese Lanterns including biodegradable and non biodegradable. Time to put the fire out!
