LAKE action group is a community of local people who are committed to creating an accessible and enriching Lake environment for now and the future.
To: Blue Mountains City Council,
Please help make Wentworth Falls Lake meet the needs of our community. As a spectacular meeting place of regional significance, we call upon the council to address child safety concerns, issues of accessibility and providing a more enriching environment.
The vision of the LAKE Action Group is to:
*Upgrade and address safety issues of the existing play equipment;
* Create an environmentally sustainable and accessible boardwalk around the lake;
* Address safety issues at the causeway;
* Upgrade existing amenities block and provide additional amenities block.
I am extremely supportive of the vision the LAKE Action Group has put forward for Wentworth Falls Lake and I call upon the council to engage in these proposals.
