Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is a favorite of many people in North Charleston, Summerville, and surrounding areas.
The closest one is in West Ashley, which is too far for many people. These doughnuts can be bought in some grocery stores, but only a select few. I would like to see an establishment in the North Charleston area.
Many years ago, there was an express Krispy Kreme on the corner of Ashley Phosphate and Rivers Avenue. When it was removed, a promise was made by the organization to place a mobile truck in the area so the doughnuts were accessible for the community.
There is another doughnut establishment near this area, but Krispy Kreme is the one that is desired.
