After 4-1/2 years, Metro reversed it's 'temporary' re-routing of the East Corridor Park 'n Ride (Kingwood, Townsend, Eastex, 205/206/257) to the current, although modified, original schedule, effective October 24, 2005.
However, the new bus stops are inconvenient to the patrons who ride this route and the scheduled pickup times are not compatible with the workday shifts of many of those businesses that subsidize Metro, adding time and distance to our workday.
For this reason we request Metro revert to and make permanent the pre-October 24, 2005 'temporary' schedule in effect for the past 4+ years.
We, the undersigned, wish to urge the administration of Metro Transit Authority of Houston, TX to permanently change the schedule for the East Corridor Park 'n Ride (Kingwood, Townsend, Eastex, 205/206/257) back to the pre-October 24, 2005 'temporary' schedule which had been in effect for the past 4++ years.
We feel the [modified] original schedule now in effect does not meet our needs and is not compatible with our workday schedules.
