On February 12, 2013, the International Olympic Committee, by secret ballot, decided to remove wrestling from the 2020 Olympics and all games thereafter.
Wrestling was a foundation of the Olympic Games, appearing as early as 708 BC, and has continued to this day as one of the fundamental Olympic sports. It's elimination from the Olympic Games is contrary to the true meaning, history, and spirit of the Olympic Games.
We, the undersigned, call on the IOC to keep wrestling in the Olympics.
