KEEP VAPING LEGALIZED IN NJ
I am here to persuade you to go against the politicians that want huge tobacco companies to run the world. Tim Eustace the Democrat State Senator voted to ban all selling of vaporized e-cigs or vaping for short. I am here to inform you on why you need to vote against this and see why the Vaporized water with no carcinogens is better than a cigarette that has over 4,000 compounds and tar. There are many many myths about vaping that people still believed because they are uninformed about the product and the health risks. I also believe Tim Eustace doesn’t see Vaping as a safer alternative to smoking that has virtually no risks. He sees it as a gateway to tobacco which is the opposite of what the motive of vaping is. Its suppose to reduce nicotine usage, help quit, and prevent lung cancer because nothing is burning its vaporizing. "There is evidence that e-cigarettes enable some users to quit smoking or reduce their consumption," McRobbie said. "If there is evidence that e-cigarettes reduce smoking-related harm, then they need to be easily obtainable and not regulated more strongly than tobacco products." (Mcrobbie, 2017)

Important Points:
A study published in Nicotine and Tobacco Research shows data taken from an ongoing web-based smoking cessation trial. The research consisted of 2,123 people over 3-months, providing follow-up data every 30-days. The results of the test showed that 31.7% of participants reported using a vaporizer to quit in the past three months. One of the most interesting points about the test was that during the follow-up, vaporizer users made more of an effort to quit and took more cessation aids than smokers who did not use vaporizers to quit.
Why are people for vaping, what is the big draw? For starters, vaping is found to be cheaper a habit than smoking. According to Dallas News, a smoker can spend between $1,500 in low-tax states, to about $5,000 in more expensive states. The average pack costs about $13. If you add that up over a year, it works out to $2,250 out of your pocket a year. When switching to disposable e-cigarettes; they cost about $6-10 each, which works out to between $1,100 to $1,800 a year. Therefore, you are saving multiple hundreds of dollars. Also, when it comes to rechargeable vaporizers with disposable cartridges, your initial purchase will be higher around $10 to $35. In the end, you may pay $2.50 apiece to replace the cartridges, but you have the potential to save up to $1,800 a year.
Vaping offers a potential for smokers to reduce their health risks if electronic cigarettes are used in place of tobacco cigarettes and are considered a step toward ending all tobacco and nicotine use.(Thomas Eissenberg, Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond)
Not all vapes are the same, there are many models such as refillable cartridge system on a cigarette looking device, a closed pod system, an atomizer that looks like a stick that if refillable with juice and coils, and heavy duty mods that you build and wick with cotton so it makes heavy vapor production.
It is a risk free option that could potentially end tobacco use so that the cause of lung cancer goes down, and second hand smoke isn’t a issue. Another thing about vape there is no second hand smoke risks the vapor just fades away.
If you were to restrict this to the public it would make so many people's lives worse approximately 16,500 people would be out of work in the US because there is about 5,000 vapor stores and low balling 3-5 people at each shop, many people would be left unemployed just because politicians wanna ban something that can benefit the whole world. They are doing the world a disservice with holding the power of lives and jobs, and just to take it away like that would worsen the situation. So I ask of you to help me keep vaping legal in NJ.
