This Group is for concerned citizens who support the North Hill Preservation Association and the Council of Neighborhood Association Presidents of Pensacola efforts to demand the City of Pensacola and the State of Florida OBEY the laws of our City and State, by not placing a Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole Center, in anything other than the M-1 and M-2 Industrial Zoning Districts where they are legally allowed according to our City's Land Development Code.
Please join North Hill in their effort to keep the Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole Center out of the North Hill neighborhood. This has all happened without proper notification to the residents of North Hill and is illegally zoned. This would bring and estimated 5,000+ offenders through North Hill.
The property backs up to residential homes, Pensacola High School, churches, community centers, and parks. If this can happen to North Hill, it could happen in your neighborhood.
