After more than two years of careful planning and due diligence, negotiations between Canadian Tire Corporation (CTC) and the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum (CFFM) have come to an unsuccessful conclusion.
The museum must vacate its current location and has been unsuccessful in finding suitable housing in Port Hope. The Municipality needs to support the museums efforts if it is to remain in Port Hope.

As a resident of The Municipality of Port Hope, I urge the Mayor and Council of the Municipality, to support the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum (CFFM), in securing a new location in Port Hope.
The museum is important to our community. Not only does it celebrate and respect heritage here in Port Hope, it is representative of the history of fire fighting throughout all of Canada.
This museum should be prioritized as a premiere attraction in Port Hope for residents and tourists alike.
The Keep the Canadian Fire Fighters Museum in Port Hope petition to Residents of Port Hope, Ontario was written by Canadian Fire Fighters Museum and is in the category Local Government at GoPetition.
