School One prides itself on the variety and vastness of the arts, including the photography program.
Photography is just as important of an art as drawing, which, as the coordinater plans to expand, would eliminate the darkrooms for photo processing, and ultimately putting an end to a vital skill for photographers.
We, the students, supporters and local artists of School One, petition for the darkrooms to continue to stay open and for the photography program to not be hindered by the expansion of the drawing program.
