Keep Our Kids At Boyette Springs (stop rezoning to new school)

Our subdivision (Shadow Run) is scheduled to be rezoned from Boyette Springs Elementary to the new school (Dawson Elementary) which will be located within the Triple Creek subdivision located just south of Big Bend/Balm Riverview Road. We are trying to stop this rezoning as it will not benefit our kids at all to have them bussed approximately five miles away in heavy traffic to a school well out of our community. Our subdivision has been zoned for Boyette Springs since it's opening and it is the closest elementary school for our kids on the west side of the development . With the fast growth rate of the area south of us it is quite possible our kids will eventually be zoned back to Boyette Springs due to the new school becoming over-crowded. So let's try to not have this temporary move upset the flow of our kids going to school at their local schools which presents a normal transition from elementary to middle to high school, all here within a 2-3 mile radius. We need to keep our kids at our local school that we have history and a relationship with for so many years.
