The majority of New Orleans Hornets fans are opposed to this rebrand of our beloved team. This franchise is established and well respected through out the world and it fits in well for the region and city of New Orleans as is.
The team is every bit as important to the city as the Saints are and have just as much of a loyal following and we the fans deserve just as much respect.
By allowing this to happen you are effectively telling fans you do not care about them and disenfranchising them from the league.
We, the undersigned, call on the the National Basketball Association owners, Commissioner David Stern and owner Tom Benson to halt the rebranding of the team and keep them as the New Orleans Hornets.
