WE MUST COEXIST. There are ill and elderly home-bound neighbors who enjoy watching the local wildlife, including this bear and her cubs. There are people who teach their young children about wildlife stewardship because of this bear and her cubs. There are educated humans who are willing to teach others how to properly coexist with bears in our region. We are grateful she wasn't euthanized last year, but relocating her to a new region with four young and dependent cubs could prove devastating - for their lives and for the richness of ours. Please, leave her and her cubs at home.
We, the undersigned, hereby petition the Governor of the State of New Hampshire to please reconsider moving the well-established Hanover Bear, and her cubs, out of the area. We can and should coexist. As stewards of the remaining wildlife left on our planet, please don't jeopardize her future and that of her cubs by removing her from her home of 10+ years.
