Bishop's Fourth Street Diner of Newport, LLC, has been at its current location, 184 Admrial Kalbfus Road, Newport, RI for 54 years. It is one of the estimated 20 (out of 2,o00) original O'Mahony diners that are still in operation today. Steve Bishop owned it from 1989 to 1999 and bought it back with his wife, Vicki (Sarah V. Bishop) in 2018. It sits on property owned by Colbea Enterprises, LLC, which is seeking a special permit to demolish the diner.
We, the undersigned, request that a special permit to demolish the building by Colbea Enterprises, LLC, be denied.
