Zarah-Jane Hector, a 33-year-old mom of two went missing on March 14 from her work place at the Oostenberg Lodge in Kuils River. She was last seen driving her boyfriend’s silver BMW Z3. The car was found stripped and abandoned days later in Observatory. The mother of two’s body was discovered 9 days after she had gone missing.
Two men, Tafiq Ibrahim and Ronaldo van Rooyen are facing charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice.
The alleged perpetrators of Zarah-Jane Hector’s murder are seeking bail. We the community of Kuils River feel that the horrific manner of the alleged savage act puts our entire community at risk and feel it prudent to not allow the alleged perpetrators back into our civilised society.
