On July 5, 2011 Fullerton Police were called to the Fullerton Transportation Center because a man was seen looking into car windows and pulling on doors. This action may have been wrong or even inappropriate but did this man deserve to die because he peeped?
Six officers arrived at the scene not for a disturbance but for a peeping tom. They proceeded to beat, taser, humiliate, stun with darts and inevitably murder Kelly Thomas, a 37 year old mentally ill man.
We must have justice for Kelly. He did not deserve to be beaten like a rabid animal. Mr Thomas deserves justice.
We undersigned call on the Police Chief of the Fullerton California Police Department to not allow another brutal and senseless beating/murder to occur without justice being served.
The Police Department has become one of the biggest and most violent gangs in the land. A person should not fear the very ones that are sworn to protect and uphold the law. This shall not stand.
We will petition, march and make calls to the politicians to have our voices heard.
