On October 30, 2016, Terrace Coleman, a 31-year-old black man was shot twice in the abdomen by Officer Garrett Boyle. Coleman suffered from paranoid schizophrenia and Boyle mentioned in his statement Coleman swung a knife at him. Coleman's mother denies this accusation as this was a case of police brutality and Boyle's racism and bias blinded him from seeing Coleman was defenseless. Hope Coleman, Terrence's mom called 911 so Terrence could receive emergency medical attention. But Boyle used unnecessary, deadly force to inappropriately handle this situation. This case was closed and Officer Boyle did not end up being charged. Help us reopen this case and get justice for Terrence Coleman!

We, the undersigned, call the Massachusetts Legislature to re-open the case of Terrence Coleman.
