On Nov. 10 2010, at my home in Scarborough Ontario, my two family dogs got into a dog fight. I called my common law partner, John Neggers to come home and assist in breaking up the fight. The fight was over before he arrived. He returned to work after smashing Juicy's head in with a hammer and left her to suffer and die. She was taken to the Vet by my oldest son, it was later that evening that she had to be put out of her suffering and we learned what had been done to her.
+Petitioning Ontario Provincial Prosecutor - Yvonne Goebel to review and over turn the slap on the wrist sentence that was issued to Johannus A. Neggers on Aug. 24th 2012.
Mr. Neggers smashed in Juicy's (a pitbull) head with a hammer and left her to suffer and die.
Mr. Neggers received a suspended sentence, 12 months probation and community service hours for his act of cruelty. There are no stipulations regarding any restrictions for his future associations with animals.
This punishment does not reflect the brutality of his crime.
