Arguably one of the greatest guitarist that have ever lived, Jimi Hendrix redefined music through his innovation and unique sound. However, many people do not know that his early years were spent here in Renton where he developed his love for music. Recognized as one of the world's greatest guitarist and a native son of our community, Jimi Hendrix should be memorialized through this tribute.
We, the undersigned, hereby petition the Renton City Council to name a principle street in the Downtown Core after Jimi Hendrix.
