While uniform attire is a tradition at Colorado Catholic Academy, the importance of ones self-expresion is eqally important to the nurturing of ones personal identity. The issue of modernizing school uniforms has been ajusted to allow girls to wear pants.
In short, we feel that in order to insure gender eqality and self-expresion that young men at Colorado Catholic Academy should be permitted to wear an earing or earings in the appropriate ear.
I am therefore asking that an immediate amendment be addapted to the current school policy allowing males at Colorado Catholic Academy to wear an earing or earings in the appropiate ear.
