In the 1960's and early '70's, Jane Fonda (actress and anti-Vietnam war activist) did willfully and without cohersion from enemy combatants (the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese Army) visit North Vietnam and aided and abetted the enemy. She did this mainly thru anti-American involvement in Vietnam propaganda speeches. She did willfully condemn US involvement and referred to US soldiers and airmen as "baby killers" and "warmongers". She was often shown in pictures with North Vietnamese military leaders and North Vietnamese Army (NVA)troops. In one, she is sitting on an NVA artillery cannon wearing a NVA helmet. All of this information, and much more, can be found on the Internet quite easily under Jane Fonda or "Hanoi Jane" as she became known as to American POW's and the US military.

In one particular instance, which took place at the infamous POW prison known as the "Hanoi Hilton", it was arranged by North Vietnamese officials that Jane Fonda would visit the US POW's there. Their purpose was to show the world that the American POW's were receiving "humane" and "lenient treatment." Somehow the POW's found out about the "peace delegation." A select group of men were chosen to meet with "Hanoi Jane". They were taken from their stinking cesspools of cells, given a proper meal, and cleaned up. They were also given fresh PJ's to make a favorable impression for the world to see.

The group, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they had survived and were still alive. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security number on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line shaking each man's hand and asking encouraging little snippets like: 'Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?' and 'Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?' Believing this had to be an act to fool the North Vietnamese, they each palmed her their sliver of paper when they shook her hand. She took them all without missing a beat. At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief and dismay of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed over all the little pieces of paper.

Three men died from the inhumane and savage beatings, the direct result of a treasonous act by Hanoi Jane. Col. Larry Carrigan, USAF, Ret. survived to tell the story of treason by an American citizen, Jane Fonda, and its dire consequences. This was not the only incident of how Ms. Fonda's treasonous acts resulted in the beatings and deaths of American servicemen, but it is the one best documented and well known.

In committing these acts, Jane Fonda willingly committed Treason and Aiding and Abetting enemy forces, resulting in the deaths of US servicemen. She knew exactly what she was doing and what the consequences would be. Why she was not arrested and charged with Treason against the United States remains a mystery to this day. There is no time limit for the charge of Treason, and she should be arrested and stand trial for her heinous crimes before she passes on.

President Obama wants to honor Jane Fonda as one of the one hundred "Women of the Century." This is inexcusable to honor someone who aided the enemy during a wartime conflict and willfully caused the deaths of American servicemen. Both of these acts are acts of Treason against the United States of America. Jane Fonda was never arrested nor brought up on any charges, which remains a mystery to the families who lost loved ones as a result of her actions, many American servicemen who were involved in this conflict, and those many others who had knowledge of these events.

Therefore, we the undersigned, call on the Attorney General of the US, together with the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces, to fully investigate all acts by Ms. Jane Fonda during her involvement with a belligerent North Vietnamese government and armed forces during the Vietnam War.

Jane Fonda was a traitor, is a traitor, and will always be a traitor to the United States Of America. This is a fact, and it can never be changed. We can only hope and pray that this long overdue situation will be rectified. There is no time limit to bring charges against the accused, but this would be a most prudent time, while many of those who were involved and suffered from Ms. Fonda's acts, are still alive and waiting to see justice done.
